    Description

    This is an old, iron twisted wire snaffle bit.
    It has a 6” mouth, which would be for a heavy draft horse or mule.
    Perhaps a cavalry or driving bit?
    This one is rusty and as found, but all the parts move freely, and could probably be used today if you clean it up.
