Paul Eugene Brown
(September 7, 1908 - August 5, 1991) was a coach in American football and a
major figure in the development of the National Football League.
A seminal figure in the game's history, Brown is considered the
"father of the modern offense",
and one of the greatest of football coaches in history, achieving success at every major level—high school, college, and professional—and introducing numerous innovative coaching methods still in use today. He is also credited as
founder of both the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals
franchises, with the former named after him and the latter naming their stadium in his honor.  With only 108 graduates from a 1926 yearbook, not too many of these have lived to tell his story!!  Aside from his posed Senior photo, activity list and great individually-posed football photo, Paul appears in 3 other photos (one for the Drama Club!).   The front and back covers, corners and spine are in excellent shape with only minor, normal wear.  The only writing in the book is confined to one autograph page near the back and the owner's name and address on the inside facing page.  The pages are in superb condition with only the mildest of foxing on the first and last pages of the book.  This is certainly a highly collectible copy (in overall wonderful shape) which has survived 83 years in top condition and should survive another 83, if just kept on your shelf and leafed through occasionally!
