    Description

Myler Dotted Black Seven Shank Sweet Iron Forward Tilt Ported Barrel MB 36 Level 2/3
This is a really nice dotted black steel "7" show bit made by Myler Toklat, with an MB36 forward tilt ported barrel mouthpiece.  This very lightly used bit in well maintained condition is a really attractive shank and mouthpiece combination with minor surface wear and rusting on the shanks and light rusting on the mouthpiece.  The dotted "Seven" shanks measure 7 inches long with a 3 inch long purchase for a 2.5 to 1 leverage ratio.  The mouthpiece is Myler's MB36 forward tilt ported barrel mouthpiece and measures 5 inches wide by 3/8 diameter.
This mouthpiece is made of polished Sweet Iron which naturally oxidizes or rusts.  Harmless to horses, it has a sweet taste and promotes salivation.  The Black iron shanks with stainless steel dots will discolor over time to an antique brown.
The low and wide barrel ported sweet iron correction mouthpiece is shaped with a curved forward tip to perfectly fit your horse's mouth and provide tongue relief.  This mouthpiece offers a variety of pressure points to take the horse as soft as possible.
This mouthpiece is made of  sweet iron with inlaid copper on the bars to encourage lightness and salivation.   The MB36 barrel port is the one of the milder Myler mouthpieces in terms of tongue pressure and considered to be somewhere between level 2 and level 3.  The wide port allows room for the tongue to
fit under the bit and makes swallowing easier applying little to no tongue pressure, working primarily on the bars, lips, chin, and poll and the barrel mouthpiece assists in lifting each shoulder independently.  This mouthpiece has Independent Side Movement and weighs 14 ounces so it is a very nice light bit and recommended for the the following type of horse:
Horse considered broke or finished; willing to obey commands
    Relaxed at the poll
Possesses advanced skills, works well off the seat, legs, and hand
