This is a simple and easy book that teaches the art of Tatting.
Tatting is an age-old craft which simply put is a knotted lace that is used for edging and trimming. Imagine old fashioned handkerchiefs and linen tablecloths. Learn to Tat is put together by classes, and each class teaches a new technique or stitch. With the instructional DVD that is included, this is by no means an easy craft, but after a little practice some good results can be achieved. The DVD is presented with classes, and with each class you learn a new technique by demonstration and a practice project. Each project has been given a difficulty level of 1, 2, and 3 and this craft has been brought right up to date with edges, bookmarks, doilies and a beautiful table runner to make.
This craft is ideal for left and right handed people, and once you get the hang of it, it is not that difficult.
