Try These Amazing Recipes Using our Ghost Pepper & Blueberry Hot Sauce
Chicken Marsala
2 tsp Minced garlic
2 oz Bravado Spice Ghost Pepper & Blueberry 6 oz Marsala wine
2 Chicken breasts, halved
2 tbsp Butter
6 oz Cream
1 lb Portabella mushrooms
1/3 c Chopped parsley
1 lb Pasta, cooked
1/2 c Flour
2 tsp Salt & pepper
1/2 c Vegetable oil
1 c Chicken broth
1. In a bowl, toss the chicken in flour, and a tsp each of salt & pepper.
2. In a pan, heat the the oil over medium heat, and lightly pan fry the chicken until cooked through. Remove and set aside to rest.
3. Melt the butter in the pan, and then add the sliced mushrooms and the rest of the salt & pepper. When the mushrooms have softened, add the garlic & parsley. Cook until the garlic is lightly browned.
4. Add Bravado Spice Ghost Pepper & Blueberry Hot Sauce and then the marsala wine and cook until reduced.
5. Then add the heavy cream & chicken broth and cook until slightly thickened. Then place the chicken breasts back into the mushroom pan sauce.
6. Spoon the sauce and mushrooms over the chicken then serve over cooked pasta.
Chicken & Waffles
2 lbs Raw, defrosted chicken
4 oz Bravado Spice Ghost Pepper & Blueberry Hot Sauce
2 c Flour
1.5 c Buttermilk
1/3 c Maple Syrup
3 c Vegetable oil, for frying
1 tbsp Salt & pepper, each
- Waffles
1. Add the chicken, buttermilk, and 2.5 oz of Bravado Spice Ghost Pepper & Blueberry Hot Sauce to a bowl and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
2. Mix the flour & salt and pepper, and heat the oil to 350°F
3. Remove the chicken from the fridge. Take one piece at a time gently shake off the excess marinade and dredge in the flour. Again gently shake off the excess flour and place in the hot oil. Fry for about 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown. Sprinkle with a little extra salt.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining 1.5 oz of Bravado Spice Ghost Peper & Blueberry Hot Sauce with the maple syrup.
5. Serve the fried chicken on top of the waffles and top generously with the hot sauce & syrup mixture. Enjoy!
Shepherd's Pie
1 tbsp Minced garlic
2 oz Bravado Spice Ghost Pepper & Blueberry Hot Sauce
3 lbs Ground beef, 90/10
3 tbsp Butter
4-6 oz White wine
1/3 c Each chopped celery, carrots, & onions
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c Red wine
5 c Mashed potatoes
1. Sauté the chopped vegetables in 2 tbsp of butter, salt & pepper.
2. Add the garlic, then ground beef break it up.
3. After the beef has browned a bit, add the red wine & Worcestershire sauce, rosemary & thyme sprigs, and Bravado Spice Ghost Pepper & Blueberry Hot Sauce. Simmer & reduce.
4. When most of the liquid has evaporated, spoon with a slotted spoon into two 8”x4” casserole dish. Spread with about 2 c of mashed potatoes and lightly brush with a little melted butter.
5. Bake for 35 minutes at 375° F or until the top of the pie is slightly browned. Let cool a bit and serve. Makes two pies.
