Fly-Fishing Chest Pack & Backpack
Chest pack with backpack for fly-fishing, can be worn separately or together. (The neck strap for the chest pack is not used while using the backpack only.)
More storage capacity than fishing vests. For day trips, you can bring things like lunch, poncho, spare spool, water, etc.
Great for backcountry hike-in fishing, or wading fishing along a long stretch of a run.
No use for stand-still fishing, like lake fishing or surf fishing, when most of the time, you just stay at one spot, not moving around a lot.
I use a sling pack personally, which hangs from left shoulder to the right. After a long while, I'd feel the stress on my left shoulder. Whereas this chest-pack-with-backpack configuration wouldn't have this problem, I'd imagine.
For double-handed fishermen, the chest pack might get in the way. I never tried it, but I'd imagine so. That's why I never tried this product myself, I stay with my sling pack. I have a listing for the said sling pack,
