ANTIQUE AUGUST BUERMANN MEXICAN RING BIT CATALOGUE NO. 35 COWBOY RANCH HORSE

Offered is a very HARD TO FIND August Buermann Mexican Ring Bit  The bit is pictured on page 86 of the Buermann Catalogue NO. 35.  The ring bit is the top right one on the page. It is No 1039 - Mexican Ring With Welded Rein Chains. On the top of the page "Mexican Ring and Patent Cowboy Bits", bottom of page Blued and Chased. I have seen the same Chased design on OLD Buermann spurs. This dandy little ring bit is 4 3/4" wide, 7 3/8" long, with 4" cheeks and the ring is 4 1/2" x 5 1/2". In looking at the picture in the book of 35 we can see that there was no cricket on the bit, yet a bar had been placed in the port that is 2" tall. This is a very nice  antique bit with the welded rein chains. The bit has no marks! The wear on the bit is slight and takes not away from this great BUERMANN ARTIFACT !! THANKS!
