    Description

This car is an excellent condition driver. Runs Great!
Body is pretty much original Studebaker quality and I can find no evidence of any major repairs in the past. Paint is a
Metallic Red, is about year old and of standard body shop quality. All glass is original and records indicate interior was redone some years ago.
Body was removed from frame, inspected, and surface rust on torque boxes and frame dustless blasted and epoxy painted.
New carpet has been added. Radio is a Classic replacement with AM/FM bluetooth. Gages and all electrical work as they should, except clock and driver side dome light. Most lighting has been upgraded to LED.
Engine, transmission, carb and blower were completely overhauled about 5000 miles ago while body was off frame. Engine has R-3 exhaust manifolds, solid state billet distributor, flat top pistons. Runs smooth and strong.  Transmission has Hurst shifter and is a T-10 close ratio. New HD Clutch.
Engine block has no stamped number or symbols of any kind, indicating a factory NOS Avanti replacement sometime in the past.
Brakes are Studebaker except modern booster and Wilwood master cylinder. Recently overhauled. Work great.  Five new radial tires. Drives straight and true.
ALL correspondence will be through E-Bay. Serious questions gladly answered, and if appropriate and useful, will be posted in listing.
Sale could be closed at any time.
ANY bid, even winning, if I deem it fraudulent will be cancelled.
Note: Any updates to this car were for safety and reliability concerns. Nothing was upgraded in any way that would prevent reinstallation of the original parts for a completely factory look.  And although I cant imagine why anyone would want to do so, most of the replaced
    factory
    and
unrestored parts come with the car, if you want them.
