1950s Coca Cola Christmas Music Box Wind-up Miniature Cooler Ice Chest Works

COCA-COLA MUSIC BOX
- 1950s or before, The Coca-Cola Company. 2.75" x 2.25" x 2". Litho on red hard plastic with metal inner workings.
We are offering a vintage "mini" Coca-Cola plastic music box in the shape of a Coke cooler. The wind-up mechanism works well, playing a Christmas tune - "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".
This uncommon advertising figural was sometimes used as a salesman sample. A scarce vintage Coca-Cola "eye catcher" with outstanding retro charm.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/paint/edge wear. Light hairline plastic crazing on box front. Moderate plastic roughness (with minor edge chipping) at movable lid hinge areas. No other cracks or breaks apparent. Plastic side pin on inner lid (it stops & starts musical mechanics) appears re-glued. A thin strip of glue residue is apparent at bottom back seam area.
Overall, we feel this example is still a very displayable working example by most standards (see photos).
An uncommon representation of a quality-made advertising figural. It would make a great COCA-COLA display for the VINTAGE CHRISTMAS and/or MUSIC BOX MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (7-6).
